Hydrocarbon Transportation – Onshore and Subsea Pipelines, Marine Terminals, Related Facilities and Flow Assurance

Fluor has been designing and building onshore and subsea pipeline projects for more than 100 years. Engineering, procurement and construction management services for pipeline projects include feasibility studies through detailed design, permitting, construction, program management and initial operation.

Our expertise encompasses both small and large diameter pipelines for the transportation of commodities including:

·         Crude oil – light to heavy, with diluents and sweet to sour

·         Liquefied petroleum gases (LPGs) – butane, propane and propylene

·         Natural gas – sweet as well as sour natural gas, dense phase and high pressure

·         Refined petroleum products – gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, etc.

Onshore and Cross-Country Pipelines

Fluor’s onshore pipeline experience includes more than 200,000 miles of installed pipeline, developed for a wide range of terrains, including deserts, mountains, oceans and rain forests, and for climates ranging from sweltering tropics to the frozen Arctic.

Subsea Pipelines and Flow Assurance

Fluor has designed some of the world’s largest and longest offshore pipelines, successfully engineering and building pipelines and flowlines to carry oil, gas, multi-phase production, gas condensate and liquefied natural gas.

Marine Terminals

Fluor has extensive international experience on all types of port, harbor and terminal projects providing project management, planning, design, procurement, construction, construction management, as well as operations and maintenance services.

Subsea Pipelines and Flow Assurance

Fluor has designed some of the world’s largest and longest offshore pipelines, successfully designing pipelines and flowlines to carry oil, gas, multi-phase production, gas condensate and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Fluor provides engineering, fabrication, procurement, construction management and project management, as well as operation and maintenance services, on subsea and deep water projects around the world.
